Half Loads in effect

Half loads will come into effect on March 4th, 2024. Effective Monday, March 4th 2024 until a date determined by staff when the restriction can be safely removed, roads within the Town of Blind River are subject to reduced loads.
During this period of time:• Vehicles are restricted to load limits of 5 tonnes per axle
• There is limited truck and transport access to these areas

The Digital Billboard Sign will no longer be used for non profit advertising.
Community groups are encouraged to utilize the following venues:- TV Cable Channel 10- The weekly emailed newsletter
If you wish to submit a poster for inclusion for the weekly newsletter, please forward it to info@blindriver.ca
NEW:You are now able to submit your community events through the Town website. You can simply create an account, input your event details, upload a poster and submit it for approval.
Boat Launch remains Closed

The Town Hall boat launch is still closed for your safety. This closure includes boats; but also kayaks and SUPs.
The water level is still very high, and the current is still very strong making it extremely dangerous. Please don’t put yourself and the first responders at risk.Emergency Preparedness
