Due to the dry conditions Blind River and surrounding areas are now at a HIGH risk of fire.
What does that mean for you?

• NO Daytime burning at all is permitted
• NO permits are being issued at this time
• Only active permits are allowed to be used from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Enclosed camp fires (3ft wide) for food and warmth between 7:00PM and 7:00AM

As per the Town's new burn By-law, propane appliances such as propane fire tables will still be allowed, as are CSA and ULC approved smokers.
