Paying Your Water Bill

You can sign up for a pre-authorized payment plan to pay your water bill, which will automatically withdraw money from your bank account to pay your bill. You may choose to pay monthly or on the due date. Please complete the Payor's Authorization for Pre-Authorized Debits Form and return it to us with a cheque marked “VOID”.

You can pay your water bill through our secure online service portal. Visit the portal homepage to learn how to register, view your accounts and sign up for e-billing.

You can pay your water bill through your bank online, over the phone or in-person. A banking fee may apply. Please allow enough time for your bank to make payments to us by the due date. Contact your bank for more information.

Please make all cheques payable to the Corporation of the Town of Blind River. Please include your remittance stub or write your account number in the memo field of your cheque.

The Town of Blind River is not responsible for payments that arrive by mail after the due date, penalty will be applied to accounts that remain upaid after the date payment is due.

We accept in-person water bill drop off payments by cheque, cash or debit card at our municipal office at 11 Hudson St. Cheque payments may also be left in the drop-box by the front door of Town Hall. Please include your remittance stub or write your account number in the memo field of your cheque. Please do not leave cash in the drop-box.

We accept water bill payments by e-transfer to etransfer@blindriver.ca. Please include your account number in the memo field. The Town of Blind River is set up for auto-deposit, so no password is required.

We accept water/sewer payments by credit card using our online payment system. All credit card service fees will be displayed and must be paid by the cardholder at the time of payment.
