By-Law 16-56 being a By-Law to amend By-Law 1613 which is a By-Law which regulates traffic and control obstruction of highways and culverts and/or ditches within the Town of Blind River.

During this time, parking is not permitted on any roadway, highway, laneway or side street within the Town, between midnight and 7 a.m.

Subsection 2.1 reads as follows:
"No person shall park or stand a vehicle on any highway within the Town of Blind River, from November 1 to March 31, between the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., in such a manner as to interfere with the movement of traffic or when snow clearing, removal and street cleaning operations are in effect"

The overnight parking restriction is in place to permit the effective and efficient snow removal on all local roadways. The By-Law will be strictly enforced 7 days a week. Motorists who do not adhere to the By-Law may be ticketed if their vehicle is impeding snow removal.
