DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICES
The Town of Blind River is seeking applications for the position of Director of Public Services, responsible to direct and manage appropriate performance of the Public Services Department, which includes the operation and maintenance activities associated with the Municipality’s infrastructure.  The infrastructure includes but is not limited to sewer, water, drainage, roads, bridges, sewage treatment, waste disposal, etc.

Reporting directly to the CAO/Clerk, and working with excellent municipal staff, the successful applicant will be responsible to oversee the public services department of the municipality and provide Council, and the CAO/Clerk with financial policy, asset management, and five year road planning.

The ideal candidate should possess:

- Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) in the Civil Engineering field as designated by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (preferred)
- Minimum of seven (7) years related experience, at least three (3) of which are in the Municipal sector

The Town of Blind River is currently undergoing a management salary review.
