NOTICE is hereby given that prescribed nomination forms are available at the Municipal Clerk’s Office, 11 Hudson Street, and may be filed along with the applicable filing fee, payable in cash, money order or certified cheque, no later than 2:00 P.M. Friday September 10/10 for the following offices:

Mayor – One (1) to Elect
Councillors – Six (6) to Elect

Green Energy Investment in Blind River

Blind River Announces Historic Green Energy Investment

The Government of Canada announced Monday June 1, 2010 that the Town of Blind River has been approved for an infrastructure loan of 49.5 million dollars as part of Canada's Economic Action Plan. The announcement was made by Greg Rickford, Member of Parliament for Kenora, on behalf of the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
